How a pro bono website for a Kenyan education nonprofit led to a seat at the table.
The Challenge
Starehe Foundation is a growing nonprofit with a mission to support education in Kenya. It had no website to communicate the mission, accept donations, or recruit partners, leaving a powerful story with no platform to tell it.
What We Did
- Built the website completely free, as a corporate social responsibility initiative.
- Designed it around the mission, with donation pathways, a partner showcase, and story-driven content.
- Gave the foundation a credible, professional home base to grow its supporter and partner network.
The Result
The foundation now has a website that truly supports the mission. Along the way, the work earned something money cannot buy: Humphrey was invited to serve as a board member of the foundation.
